Wait...on bin day, someone actually picks up your bin? It used to be that way when I was a kid.

Now, we have trucks with gadgets that pick them up. They're noisy and irritating at 7 am.

Well we have wheelie bins (actual name) and the collectors drag them over to the trucks to be emptied there.
They are super loud especially when the crew are all shouting to each other

We also have boxes and bags in some councils and no wheelie bins. These boxes are then emptied into trucks by hand. If you can't fit the lid, or if it's too heavy it gets left. You then have to take it to the dump yourself.
