Anyone from the UK?

hahaha... reminds me of Michael Stipe singing the liner notes off an album as he couldn't get his words right for the take of a song. it ended up an r.e.m. b-side and it's so good... he even sang the catalogue number (LST390).

I'd listen to ingredients by Wand3r

i have fond memories of the shipping forecast and a singer getting very animated about it from my time in radio.

also... heard two songs this year that have areas mentioned and recited (one was lighthouses around the uk) and they are amazingly mesmerising to listen to

There's someone in my family tree.... way way back that was christened "Fastnet" as he was born when his father was sailing in that part of the sea at the time
Fastnet still makes me shiver from THAT race... jeez, what horror.

I like sailing, never been, but it's wonderful to see. The Vendee Globe is this year... loved the tales of how it started and the Crowhurst bit is amazing, if horrific
