I love timberlands, I have a pair that are battered and have kept going for 20 years.

Not that practical for mud and gravel stomping, no! Nor scrabbling around taking photos -which is usually where my boots take a hammering.

The new ones will be Meindl . New Salomon ver nice boot. Still not sure about the meindl ones . I think the might be too hot on warm days.

I got some Aku ones which are very comfy and coped with being scraped around as i lie on the ground to take photos.

The recycling truck has already been and I didn't have my boxes out on time
