27/28 degrees is fine unless you have to work! My little box room of a home office will be horrible this afternoon. I have ice pops in the freezer and my fan on charge.

It's a sad fact of the seasons. It's not been a brilliant summer, but I am already dreading the cooler weather coming.
The layers will start going on again all too soon.
One of my favourites from Keats. I had to learn it for GCE English Lit. I still know most of itOne of the things I value most about living here is the changing seasons. They all have something special. Even the depths of winter, especially those blue sky, frosty days. Autumn soon; season of mists and mellow fruitfulness......
Tragic. More so in the fact that it always seems to be Winter. Spring? Cold and wet. Summer? Hot and wet. Autumn? also cold and wet. As for actual Winter... that is long cold and wet. It's a sad fact of the seasons.
