Anyone from the UK?

I had 12 perfectly decent chairs for our dinning table plus 4 emergency chairs for additional guests....

But
No
They didn't match the kitchen sofa, so 12 new chairs arrived yesterday (conveniently whilst my wife is away - to the extent that I told the delivery driver he was at the wrong house) and I've spent all morning putting the legs on them.

Brew time.
Oh no
The perils of having a kitchen sofa. Super relatable 🤪

Nothing in my house matches. It's all been donated from family or bought cheap. I'd quite like a coordinated space but then I'd stress about my clumsy arse ruining it all 🤦‍♀️

Do you need 8 black chairs and 4 white onesm

I’m looking forward to visiting Brighton next week. It’s one of my fave cities to visit (except for the unbelievably difficult parking situation!).

Definitely a place where you meet awesome and interesting people 😊

The only time we miss not having a man in the house is bin day, and spider in the bath time 🤣

Haha, my daughters somehow survive living away, yet when I visit, somehow I end up tending to both of those things … I suppose it’s nice to be of some use still 🤔

I’m actually not too bad. My wife is petrified
Aw my old house mate and still very good friend is fully agoraphobic. She was always waking me up in the middle of the night because of spiders in her room. At one point she didn't enter her room for 4 months because she was too scared. She just camped out in the living room.
She has a husband and a cat now to come to the rescue

Those are kinda annoying. Noisy and don’t hang around to be caught always.
I think this one was stunned after flying into the door. I just gently nudged it out of the way.
Funny thing was once she saw it was injured she felt sorry for it

Do you live in a stately home?

I have 8 chairs for the dining table and I hope to never use more than 2 at a time

Back when I used to be scared of spiders and such, I’d happily squish things. Nowadays I actually can’t understand why I did that when it’s so easy to just pop them outside.
I dislike anyone or anything suffering. I nearly had to put myself in therapy 2 weeks ago, when a bird threw itself in front of me of my car. As you know, I’m often in the countryside and I have managed to avoid killing anything for about 8 years. I felt so guilty!!

Aw yeah that would have upset me too

I feel your pain but it's more likely to be a deer or a badger here. They make an awful mess at anything over 20mph.

Deer are starting to appear very regularly recently. But if I hit either of those I don’t think I’d ever forgive myself. OMG the mere thought of it!!!
