Anyone from the UK?

I've got defts playbook open here. Well some of it, some pages are stuck together. He must have spilt horlicks or something on it.

I will be in Wimbledon for a 10 days. Any suggestions on places to go?

what do you like to do? what sore of things would interest you? tourist stuff? museums? sights to see?

from Wimbledon you can get into central London easily by train or tube. you can also get trains to the south coast. Locally, there is the tennis museum (never been) and the Common, which has a windmill and you might see the Wombles. if you fancy a scenic trip, you can go to Putney and catch the riverbus into London (generally it only runs mornings and evening though).

If you need any practical info on getting around, check out the transport for london website. NEVER stand on the left side of the escalators. NEVER walk up to the ticket barriers and then reach for the card/ticket - always have it ready. wait for people to get off the tube before trying to get on. you don;t have to press the buttons to open the tube doors, but do on trains. It is pronounced Lest-Err Square.

Looking for non tourist areas to go to. See what the locals experience. I have been to the main tourist spots. Are there place outside of London to go to? Any good adult places?

Adult places... well, i am an adult and i go places. usually to see bands.

what local in London experience is the normal day to day things... plus, lots of tourists! Each bit of London is different, different neighbourhoods have their own culture. From Wimbledon you can get to New Malden easily and find the biggest South Korean population outside of Korea.

You could go to Richmond and mooch about by the river. Go to Whitechapel and see east End life (also Bethnal Green area and Brick Lane).

Cambridge is nice for a day trip. Brighton, or other seaside towns.
