Are Women really as Taboo as men ???

I've only read the last page of this thread so forgive me if this point has already been made.

I think the extent to which men and women differ in their interest in taboo activities has more to do with the risks and costs of engaging in such behavior than their inherent wiring and capacity for it.

Remember that men tend to be much larger, heavier, and stronger than women giving them a greater capacity for violence. Plus, men tend to suffer less shame from friends, family and society if caught in engaging in taboo behaviors. Take for example picking up a woman at a Hotel bar. If she goes back to the room of a strange man she is at FAR greater risk of being beaten than he is. Likewise if their spouses find out. She is much more likely to be beaten by a jealous husband than he is by a jealous wife. Ugh.

Who knows for certain if they'd be JUST as taboo as men, but women would CERTAINLY be more taboo than they are today if the risks of such behavior were truly equal to a mans.

Picking up a woman at a bar for a one night stand is not taboo in my opinion. A woman getting drunk and blowing her brother in a bathroom during a family gathering is the taboo I’m referring to..

By reading lit threads on the subject of taboo, I suspect that the number of men having those thoughts and desires outnumber women greatly! Although quite rare I admit I have had them over the years but only acted on them a couple times, and that was many years ago.

I’m in my early 50’s and have always been on the taboo / perv side of life. One of my favorite taboos that I’ve always found very intriguing is incest. I’ve always wanted to meet a woman who shared this taboo but never have, even when I hinted that I was interested, they’ve never expressed interest. Incest is extremely popular on this site as well as just about every porn site which really makes me curious as to how common this topic might be amongst women, or is it really just men for some reason.. I would love to meet women that share this interest for friendship and possibly more, but where are they ???
I'm almost 50 so we're of a similar age. And I'm sex crazed incest nut, been into it for three decades. And the thing is, I dont hide it from my hubby, he knows and considers this my little crazy hobby lol... but it's so much more. Anyways, if you want to know me better, feel free to DM...

Oh my same. I mean it is so much more. You’re so right and it’s amazing.

I don't have family so I don't really have a first-hand point of view on incest (unless foster siblings count), but if everyone is of age and no one is getting pregnant, I say ROCK ON.

As far as women being as taboo as men, we may not be as prevalent or overt but I guarantee you that there are women out there with taboos that would open your eyes. :)

I’d be willing to listen to your taboos and talk about them!
