Artistic Self Photos

A classically-inspired pose

I really like this thread, and will need to check it more often going forward. Thank you to all of the contributors! It would take me pages to leave all the comments I would like to, but these are some of the more recent ones that struck my fancy for one reason or another:

Found some more of variable (dubious) artistic integrity from my back pages, but at least they're different! <snip> . . . a blatantly pornographic one mitigated only by a Man Ray style solarisation :)
beautiful composition in addition to the light effect :rose:

I'm enjoying making these shots
fun and intriguing pose :rose:

A little different.
This is fun to look at in its own right, but I also like the way that the mosaic accentuates the way the light falls on the body -- you can see clearly which parts are in shadow, the points where the light falls brightest, etc. :rose:

This is fun, nice choices for the color pop :rose:

Thanks! It’s an old ukulele I turned into a nightlight that hangs on the wall. LEDs light the inside, and side glow fiber optic wire were used for strings.
Very inventive. An image that that draws you into the scene and then holds your attention :rose:

A classically-inspired pose
Simply gorgeous :rose:

Please keep the images coming everyone!

A humble contribution

I am not at all "artistic" in the sense of being talented at creating original content. However, I do like playing with image color and composition (mostly via simple cropping) and observing the different effects those changes have on mood. I also enjoy seeing how various filters highlight aspects of the photo that you may not have noticed on first look. That's the case with this one, which is a modified version of one that I posted on my separate thread.

It's fun to experiment! (You can find the original here if you're interested in comparing.)

Beautiful, though I would prefer to do a more hands on comparison :rose:

That might be a good idea . . . strictly in the name of science of course ;)

I imagine an eerie building in an extraterrestrial landscape. Nice result.
Quite an interesting comparison, thank you :rose:

Glad you find this shade appealing
