Because they post the links and then quickly delete them. Honestly I think it's a waste of time to post them just to delete them a minute later but to each their own.
This a worth speaking to I guess….there’s obviously an erotic thrill in light exhibitionism that’s strong enough to put personal pics here, but there’s also a mild terror of someone downloading them. Potentially even somehow identifying me in my non-Lit life (I don’t post my face, but it’s still pictures of me), but honestly I really hate the idea of them being downloaded and kept for any reason. So the usual balance between the two is to post them for a brief time. I understand how that can frustrating, but also don’t want to start feeling obliged to post more.

I'm not bashing you for your choices but I was simply answering a question. I respect your decision and understand your concern but even posting them for a minute gives people the opportunity to do everything you are afraid of. I never download anything from this site because the pictures don't belong to me. Of course there are many people who feel differently and of course steal pictures from others not to mention those who steal people's pictures and then post them here as their own. Both are wrong and I despise it. If you don't want to keep them up then delete the entire post from the thread so that no one wastes time clicking on a dead link.

Well said, if we see you it's a good day. If not, is all good.

Expecting someone to delete their entire post is a bit much in my opinion. While it’s nice when the person takes the time to edit their post and remove the now dead link(s), the time it takes when one clicks a dead link is fairly negligible. It can be annoying and frustrating, but really not a huge deal in the end.

True you were just answering a question, but also it didn't sound like you respected their decision.

For a lot of people, there is a dilemma between wanting to expose themselves, and the fear of being seen. It's a bit like riding a roller coaster...

Whilst I'm always disappointed to have missed posts, unless they're posted for my benefit I have no right to expect to see them.

I've also noticed that the most complaints come from people who rarely, if ever, post their own pics...

I see no difference in editing or deleting as it only takes the same amount of effort but either way is fine. I will just refrain from clicking on links of posters who continually kill their links.

So just because I don't post pictures means I shouldn't be here or have an opinion? I see....

Also I am only responsible for my comments and not how someone interprets them.
