I can't post any more pictures! I'm using android, and my phone and browser are updated... I don't see the "attach file" icon next to "post reply" like everyone else I've talked to.

Hmmm! I’ve got no clue how to help with this. I would suggest posting in the tech help forum at the top of the page or sending a PM to Manu.

I just got an invitation to chat from a guy. I am straight, don’t know why he thinks I am not. I am not a frequent poster, am a fairly shy guy, tend to participate mainly in word games, am not interested in “dirty” chat with him. Can you tell me how to delete the invitation and to block future messages from him?

You could simply block him by clicking on his username and then clicking “ignore.”
You also can open the PM and click on “Leave.” When you do that the following options will pop up (see screenshot).

The forum’s rules regarding what type of images can be upload are posted at the top of the relevant forums. If a user repeatedly uploads images that violate these rules, we will delete the images and the user may lose the ability to upload images to the forum. It’s not something that the forum moderators can do or undo; you’d have to appeal to the site owners.
Yeah, I really miss how easy that was on the old system. The best I’ve found is to click on their username and then click “postings.” It’s not as good as before and if they’ve locked down their profile, it’s not even an option.

It’s not possible to change it yourself. You can send a PM to Laurel and ask her to change it, but I am not sure she’d do it for a new account with only two posts (unless…do you also have stories published)? You could give it a try, but I’d recommend just starting a new account.

It used to be you needed to get to a certain number of posts. Maybe 100? I’m not sure if that’s still it, though, since the forums underwent a major update a few months back.

I don’t believe it’s possible to paste or attach a photo. It will need to be a link. Some people use sites like imgur and Dropbox.

In the forum, you just click/tap on their username and then “start a conversation.” If that option doesn’t appear, the specific member has probably disabled the feature and does not want to receive PMs.
