"After 8 hours of labour pains, just taken the first pain relief so I can get some rest. Baby doing fin. Midwife reckons sometime tonight all fingers well and truly crossed"
So, Nyte may get her wish

The following text I recieved at 7:20 AM CET
"Contractions all but stopped around 3 AM Get the odd one but nowhere near as strong. So 15 hours pain and still no baby yet! Guess will have wait and see what the doctor says when I see them in a bit."
So.. time to call the cops to get this homejacker out *nods*
Poor Brit though.. must suck majorly to be her.

The following text I recieved at 7:20 AM CET

I got the following text at 16:40 CET, and it makes me very proud to give the news to you all.
"After a very, very, VERY long wait, we're proud to announce the safe arrival of [name omitted out of privacy] at 11:28 this morning. Weighing in at 3,9 kg (8,6 lbs) and 50 cm (1'8") long. She's perfect and more then worth all the waiting."
So yes, it's a girl
I am so happy for our dearest Witch! Squee!!!!
