Ok it is past one so we are of to bed before tomorrow morning taking a plane to New York. The both of us are very eager to meet you all and we will have lots of fun. For everyone we know that is going to be there we are bringing some goodies from Amsterdam.

To the people attending the Get Together we will see you all in a couple of days and to the rest.

I talked to my friend to get the best route to the airport. Traffic is sooo slow now days that even though it is a less that two hour drive, it may take up to three hours.

Here it is rush hour 24/7, LOL!

Some might have noticed our presence back on the board, despite our expected arrival in NYC today. Well to cut a long story shorter, we drove part way, then trained it to the airport, (hours of travelling) luggage in tow and not running late, to be told along with many other unhappy Delta customers, that despite having valid tickets, with allocated seats, we had been replaced on the flight because we supposedly were too late...interesting as some people had been there longer than us and we were over an hour early!! Then they tried to tell us we should pay E100 to have our flight rebooked for tomorrow same time....well we told them where to stick that one. In other words they had overbooked the flight and closed the gate once they filled the seats, and those with tickets could go whistle Dixie.

Needless to say we will be making an official complaint and asking at the very least to have our hotel and transport costs refunded, and will certainly let you know if they honour that, especially as we have had tickets in our hands for weeks. We will be at the airport 3 hours early tomorrow!!! Oh well, I am a believer things happen for a reason, this one I know not why, but accept and remain positive despite the initial disappointment. Mmmm, wonder if my son is going to stay up all night again to ensure we do not sleep through the alarm and wake as our plane takes off to blue skies?!! Think he is looking forward to getting some privacy around here...LOL.

I quick question for everyone going, as far as an event on Friday night.

In Orange, CT,.. a city about 7 miles away from where we're staying, they just started a new Fetish night on Friday's. This last Friday was the first one they'd done. The name of the night is "Fit to be Tied" .. and definitely a more fetish club scene.

I've had similar thoughts myself. Since everyone will be travelling in that day, and we all may want to just have a little party in one of the rooms together, talk, laugh, drink, play and joke around, etc etc.
I did want to throw it out as an option though..
