Well not exactly drunk just getting into the festive spirit...or is that getting the festive spirit into you, it's gets a little fuzzy after the first couple of bottles. Although I do make a wicked cocktail or so I've been told.

Nothing but heat here in Melbourne town for almost two weeks. Broken all kinds of records for the longest hot spell since records have been kept. We usually get a mini heat wave in mid Jan during the tennis but that is countered by a nice cool change. But getting this heatwave in Spring is just not normal...and we still have politicians here in Aussie land that are climate change deniers and one fool reckons global warming is a good thing cause more people die from the cold, he is an ex-prime minister, kinda like a president. Had one cool day yesterday now it's back to the heat for the rest of the week, hopefully it cools down next week. Till then keep drinking :D
 
Oh wait...didn't know it was your birthday..Seems the attachment thing isn't working so I guess I'll just wish you a happy birthday:rose::kiss:

Over our holiday weekend it was 80f and I was loving it! Where else can you have Thanksgiving in bare feet and a sleeveless dress? I also used it as an excuse to drink wine. Wayyyyy to much wine. But, hey... it's not like it happens all the time!

What else have you been doing while you wait for the temps to go down? If they are unseasonably high, I wonder how bad it will be two months from now. As a matter of fact, that sounds good to me. I need to book a ticket! :rose:

oh, I see what you did there!
Yes, well.... my clothes did stay on since it was my brother's house... but, we took the sixth glass of wine to the table with us to eat... and it was a good thing we got some food into us. I think we had a good time laughing and telling stories though.

Thank you for the birthday wish! It's never too late... we can call it getting ahead on the next one, right?! :D:rose:
 
another birthday, huh?

i hope all those candles didn't show up on any satellites as a possible nuclear event.:D
