What games have you found for your PS4 that are good? I have been banging my head against a wall because I am so picky...I like the Lego Marvel game I got but nothing else I have tried out has really scratched my gaming itch. I am likely going to have to wait for KH3 or the next Ratchet and Clank before I find something that makes the gamergirl in me purr!

I don't know how avid bloggers do it! I have tried but it seems like I can never keep up with it. Over the years I have probably started and never kept up with a half dozen blogs, lol.

I am glad you're feeling better! I hear you regarding weight. I had to have major lifesaving surgery a couple years ago (they had to remove a few organs) and it just tanked my figure. I am working on getting it back to a good place but man, it's hard! I have been informed that it could take a few years before my body is really 'over' the trauma from the surgery. Here's hoping it decides to get better sooner rather than later!

But it's great you're taking the initiative. I wished we lived closer to each other, we could kick each others' butts to exercise :D

Well, if the plans I'm trying to set in motion work out, I'll have a reason to get my butt in gear. Might actually be getting to meet someone (originally from the Lit chat days) that I've still been talking to.. for like 10 years now, and we have never had the chance to meet up before :eek: Close a couple of times, but no go. I'll definitely want to shed some pounds before then (by July) :p

As to the tumblr.. meh, I just follow a bunch of porn blogs and reblog stuff! lol. Not really that hard. I always have my phone on my night stand, so usually when i wake up, I scroll through on the phone and will post and queue stuff to be posted later. And then, of course I'm home all day, so I can hop on here and there and do the same. Now if I could focus that energy into writing again!

Oh man... I'm LOVING my PS4! First thing I played was Last of Us. It is by far the most amazing game I have ever played. It moved me in ways that no other game has. Gorgeous graphics, the writing is some of the best I've seen in a game.. I was literally brought to tears a couple of times. I'll eventually play it again, and I still need to play the dlc.

Then I had to play Infamous Second Son... well, I rented it to make sure I wanted to buy it (I kinda have a thing for Troy Baker.. if he's voice acting in it, I want it :p).. but I still need to play it all the way through. I finished Dragon Age Inquisition (loved it!), I've played half way through Far Cry 4 (it's great.. really enjoying it.. again, gorgeous graphics, AND.. Troy Baker in it), I had already finished GTA V on Xbox, but I had to have the remastered version, so I've been working through it. Hubby and I played some Diablo III together (need to again soon). Destiny was one of the first ones I got, but I haven't played too much of it. I had AC Black Flag (finished) and Saints Row IV (half way finished) on Xbox, and I decided I wanted them for the PS... currently playing SR now.

I'm just not really that picky with gaming.. well, a little bit... lol.. but yeah, there's just so many different ones that I like/love :D

I am definitely, THANKFULLY, better now. The odd little genetic disorder seems to have been alleviated by the surgery, knock on wood!

I may have to check out Last of Us, I keep hearing good things but I am not too into 'scary' games. It might be just interesting enough for me to try though! I can't do FPS or really violent games, and I've never been able to get into any of the GTA series. But what's funny? Totally loved Red Dead Redemption. It's basically GTA on horseback, but I fuckin' love it lol. Dragon Age may be another one I have to try to find to rent somewhere (redbox really needs to get PS4 games on their systems!), or perhaps I will buy it used and then can return in a few days if I just can't get into it.

That is good to hear!

I played Red Dead (same people that made GTA and LA Noire)... I just never finished it (still have it though!). I love FPS games. It was Bioshock that really got me into them, and now I play them like crazy. GTA V, it's really the sandbox world that I love. I mean, I love the main stories in it, and the game play, but I really love driving around in that world. It has made me want to visit Santa Monica and the surrounding area really bad (the game is pretty much a street by street of LA, Hollywood, Santa Monica, and up in the mountains area).. so much so that I told hubby that in 2 years, we need to make a trip out there for our 15th anniversary :p

Last of Us does have some scary parts... but think of it like Walking Dead. It's more about the story and humanity, rather than the "zombies/infected". Just do what I did... I pulled up IGN walk through, and watched the videos posted there... so I kind of had a heads up when there was going to be a jump out part :p lol

Oy... the blog.. yeah, I deleted the one I had and started over, so I'm trying to build my followers back up. So.. if anyone is interested in the porn blog I have, http://embersdesires.tumblr.com/ ... there ya go :)

You might very well remember him. He never really posted much on the forums, but he was a regular back in our Lit chat days. You may remember him as the one that never wanted to send me a pic, and you agreed with me (and I think even got on to him about it) that he should be willing to send something....

He disappeared for a year after that and then we kinda crossed paths, and have been talking since then.

I loved Red Dead for the same reasons; the story was very well done and everything, but gentling a mustang and riding it around that world is really something. It's absolutely beautifully rendered and stunning, especially at sunset!

I got about 2/3rds of the way through L.A. Noire and enjoyed it a fair bit. I had just been to Los Angeles when I started playing it and had a nice little laugh seeing all the places I had been...only about 40-50 years before they were actually there!

I'll check out some youtube playthroughs of Last of Us. If it's more about the story than OMGZombieAAHHHH then it may be more my thing! :D

if you guys are gamers I would try Dragon Age Inquisition i'm playing it now on my ps4 and it is awesome, good story line, good game play. It is an RPG if that's what you are into.

Red Dead was awesome, I never could get past the zombie part of the game though, but dealing with the bandits and chasing that train was probably one of the best things in a game I've ever done.

Do you mean Red Dead Undead Nightmare? I don't recall zombies in the regular version of Red Dead Redemption. I got Undead Nightmare but it freaked me out! I never finished it, lol :)

Embery's played DA Inquisition but I haven't. she's doing a pretty good job talking me into it though! what do you like about it Dave?

I am apprehensive and excited about Final Fantasy XV. Kitase, Nojima and Nomura are involved in it, which gives me some measure of hope since FF7 and FF8 were amazing. But the series has steadily gone downhill, imo, since FF9. I couldn't stand FFX.

I did mean undead nightmare, I had the game of the year version with all 3 versions on it.

I can't wait for the new final fantasy to come out. they are my favorite games, I still have the original ones for the old Nintendo deck.

DA Inq. is very similar to final fantasy. It's story line is great, especially if you've played the first 2, the way you can develop characters, and there is more actual playing than cut scenes but even those are cool. If I were i'd give it a try. I think you'll like it, and even if you don't theres no harm in it.

but if you like final fantasy you will like dragon age

Awesome, I loved FF7 and 8, and enjoyed 9 a lot too. So I may have to dive in to DA Inq!

Ahh I never got the GotY edition for Red Dead but I heard it was good! I just got Undead Nightmare when it came out and played it for maybe a few hours. I think most of my time was spent shrieking and running away from things. Yup, I'd probably become zombie chow in the zombie apocalypse pretty quickly! lol :D
