Bootblack - Bootblacking

Ty wolf.

I have memories of Sunday nights before bed, cleaning all 9 family members shoes for school/work on monday. I have on occasions, cleaned my Dom's shoes, but he's never had them on him, perhaps i should revisit ;)

What is a dog, well id surmised it maybe puppy play of some sort. But if there's one thing ive learnt, its not to assume things in this bdsm milarky, as it tends to bite you on the arse if you do, so thought id ask.

You gotta love that you can ask ANY questions here lol.

Yeah... I hesitate to make assumptions too. In this type of lifestyle you never know what something might mean.

Was thinking more the spray type mace that burns like hellfire. But a literal mace works too.
Little less subtle though, LOL.
Maybe they carry both!

Hmmm well.... Mace could make a good punishment.... Doesn't have to be sprayed in the eyes, burns all skin anyways.

Nah... they don't need to carry either, that's what belts are for right?

Who gets to decide these things? Are their a 'boot lacing police' out there to get you if you don't do it right? What do they do if you're wrong? Take your laces away? And who in the world has the time to think up these rules?

Gracie,

Bootblacking and bootlacing having meanings are traditions carried on (and over) from what many would call "Old Guard" leathermen. That is to say, gay World War II era veterans who came home from the war and wanted the comraderie they felt in the military, and started up the gay leather and levi clubs in the late 40's early fifties.

And while I have not heard of the "bottom up" or "top down" meaning of lacing your boots (could be a regional thing), I have known almost from the beginning of my exposure to the leather lifestyle that if you were a top you laced your boots "left over right" and if you were a bottom you laced them "right over left". Same meaning as flagging left (Top) or right (bottom).

Unfortunately I've never figured out if it was "left over right" from _MY_ perspective, or the person looking at me. So I wear Wellington or motorcycle style pull on boots! *lol*

Well, there are two diffent ways that your boot lacing can mean something.

The first way is the way that they are laced. If they are laced from the bottom and up through the holes you are marking yourself as a bottom. If they are laced through the top and down then that signifies Top.

The coloring can also convey things, kind of like the hanky code that gay men use. Red would be fisting, yellow would be enema and watersports, grey is bondage, blue is fucking, and black can mean nothing at all or that you don't want to disclose.

Apart from the various sexual meanings you may attach (sic) to the color of the laces, beware that red laces = left wing; white laces = right wing.

Some friend of mine, who used to wear "Doc Marteen's" out of fashion was once assaulted because the color of his laces wasn't right....

This girl is local to my area, she writes a monthly newsletter called "Simply Service" that is very informative, I recommend subscribing.

I was looking at the newsletter, noticed the yahoo group for it. My Daddy and his slave nisey are friends with bootpig actually. Pretty small world isn't it?
