Britwitch's Annual Hallowe'en Party 2013

Reaching over he picks up a handful of cookies. The cookies now seemingly floating give her sometimes to locate him by. "Better?" he asks. "And to answer your question, yes I am enjoying myself. Thank you for asking. About three weeks back I took a fall that reminded me to appreciate the time I'm given."

Sorry to hear that. *watching the disappearing cookies*

Sometimes life just has to give us these little lessons to keep us sharp. I have a near phobia around falling. Nightmares, the whole works.

"Perfectly understandable fears if you ask me. I tend to be the kind of person who is afraid of heights. So I climb sometimes just to fight that fear. In the last case however I was trying to cover a room under construction because of the rain. Nine feet later I'm trying to get back to my feet. Still a good bit of pain in my neck, but it's ok I fell on the hard end... My head. Anyone you walk away from..."

After perusing the rest of the house and admiring the handiwork of the hostess and her helpers he finds himself ready for more snacks, wandering back into the common room and happening upon the two new guests chatting. His hammer makes a heavy sound as he sets it down to gather vittles from various trays, clasping a drink in his offhand. He smiles at the gothic-hued Raggedy Anne and tips a nod to in the direction of the invisible fellow.

"Hello you two. Hope you're enjoying yourselves. I believe I've met the both of you, albeit briefly and quite some time ago. It's good to see more guests here."

"Indeed it is fr33k. And it has been a while. How have you been?" He reaches for a drink and another handful of cookies.

"Been doing well. Not a whole lot new, but not a whole lot to complain about."

He picks at his plate, attempting to keep his face paint from getting too smudged. A long drink of his beverage washes down the snacks and he has to resist the urge to wipe his mouth with the back of his hand.

"It's good to hear that your doing well. I wonder what the chance of seeing the hostes is?"

The last of the costumed guests heads off down the path as the grey of dawn finally starts to creep up over the horizon.

Another Halloween is over, a much quieter one than years gone by but still, it was fun.
She'll plan again for next year all the same.

Blowing out candles on her way through the house, it's time to hang up her ears and tail. Then, there's a whole lot of tidying to be done!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

See you next year!
