Work in the energy industry and was staying at a hotel next to my district office. Met a woman who was staying at the hotel who worked for British Petroleum in London and in town for a few meetings. Funny enough we actually met standing in line at Braums behind the hotel ordering food. We chatted (loved each others accents) and she invited me to come to her room to eat our meals. I would love to tell all of you it was my irresistible sex appeal that sealed the deal but in all honesty I think I checked her travel conquest box as being her first time in the US and her first American. Spent two evenings planting the American flagpole trying to make my country proud. She is and was my only foreign conquest and for that I will never forget those two nights.
In the oilfield we have a saying.
"Drill it deep and pump it all night long"
Did my best to uphold that saying.
Side note: Happened at the tail end of a long nasty divorce for me and hadn't had any in a very long time. I hadn't been in the game for so long I didn't have any confidence on even how to play. That helped put a spark in my ass and helped me move on in a position direction.

I remember a trip to Sweden many years ago with my MD. We went out for a meal with the client in the evening and after a few drinks, my boss and I headed back to the hotel for a final beer before bed. He went soon after finishing his beer. I took a while longer.....
As I was finishing off my beer I noticed a Swedish couple in the corner of the bar. They were looking at me whilst whispering to each other. I could see they had had a few drinks. I didn't speak Swedish, so had no idea what to say ,so I smiled. Her reaction was amazing. It was if I'd touched her intimately. This happened for the next few minutes. I wasn't sure if I was imagining things and didn't have the courage to speak to them in English. (I was young).
As it turned out after watching them. I suspect he had some kind of sex toy he was controlling and every time I looked over he pressed the button or turned up the intensity.
Nothing came of it and I never knew if it was my imagination or that I was just too shy at the time to find out.
What it has done is given me years of fantasies and a real urge to meet like minded people when on business trips.
I travel a fair amount in Europe, but being in a stable relationship means I don't take any steps to actively look elsewhere.....but as they say. Never say never
