Anyone experiencing any travel issues so far (this is just to see if anyone’s had issues, please not a discussion as to the reasons behind them)?

Not really, but most of our travel for work has been on the west coast and the PNW. Looking at Flight Aware's Misery Map, most of the delays appear to have been in Chicago, NY, ATL, etc

I’m Midwest to East Coast and so far, nada. I’m fully expecting something though as sometimes I need to got thru ATL (but try and avoid).

I traveled last week from Philly to out west. No issues. Philly to Denver. Denver to Seattle

Well....my flight to Phoenix canceled this morning. Kinda bummed about the loss of work. Super bummed about the loss of play time. I had a date set up. Oh well.

Had my first hotel bar encounter last night - first time ever I have had someone attempt to "pick me up" while just grabbing a drink to wind down.

Flew home (no issues) this morning and all I am doing is replaying the regret in my mind for not engaging her. I guess it was a mixture of the shock, dread over an early flight, and who knows what else that had me reply with the "thanks, but I have an early one out of here".

Two hours earlier and I am sure it would have been a different story - and she was a knockout. Such is life....

I have to ask, why the turndown, especially considering the first hotel bar encounter. I can remember one business trip and stumbling back to my hotel room at 5am, still feeling a buzz and it was worth every sleepy moment the next day. Can always sleep on the plane. Just curious.

Maybe shock in the moment, or that it had been such a long time where such a situation has presented it to myself. I am married, and have limited my activities to virtual/audio/video via the people I have played with, so it would have been a larger step that I'd taken before.

Thing is, in retrospect, with thinking on it all day, that opportunity has convinced me that maybe it is time for such a step. Which, doesn't help much with last night, because I keep replaying the possibilities in my mind.

I certainly understand what you say. There can be a guilt factor but then, for guys at least, those kinds of opportunities don't come along very often. Maybe you two will cross paths again on a future business trip.
