Another post that has inspired me to apply for a new position in my company. One that requires much travel!
 
Seeking advice

Any suggestions in attempting to seduce a married co-worker, who comes into town several times a year; therefore, she has a room.

Well, maybe I am old fashion but, has she given you any indication that she may want a little extra when she is in town?

Maybe she just wants to do her job and go home to her hubby.

I would be polite and courteous at work. If she likes your personality at work, it’s a fair bet that she will one day say yes to you showing her around town when she flies in.

Whatever you do, DO NOT BRING UP SEX OR ANYTHING CLOSE TO A SEXY CONVERSATION AT WORK!

Know this ahead of time though. I have said this before, it is not usually a good idea to fuck the payroll. The morning after may be awkward.

I appreciate the advice. I would not have thought that there was interest, but about a month ago, she made a comment that was kind of out of the blue to me. Ever since then, I have been trying to determine why.
Believe me, all of your warnings are heard.

Likely an overactive imagination & always horny ...
While on the phone & just on th ed heels of "We need to do happy hour next time I am there", she said, "Oh (insert name here), what would I do without you?"

Again, I assume I am a dreamer, but it is better than being bored at work.

I have a similar situation with someone I travel with frequently. Comments have been made that make me wonder, but the fear of making an embarrassing and potentially career ending mistake coupled with the even greater fear of losing a good friend keep me from acting.
 
For Slugger and Paradox, I understand where you are coming from. A work place romance can be very iffy but can also be very exciting. Every situation is different though. I have a female co-worker that I travel with on occasion. We normally go to dinner together and sometimes get a beer in the evening. At home, we usually go to lunch together when we are both in the office and once every few months we will do a happy hour so we are pretty close. That said, I know she is also happily married but her husband travels a lot so she is stuck at home a lot with 2 small kids so I believe she sees me as some freedom to get out of the house and have adult conversations. Though I can feel a little sexual tension between us I would never make a move on her because I know she is happy with her husband. If she was unhappily married or single then that would be a different story.

Going to happy hour with your co-worker is no big deal and that in itself should not cause any issues. From there you can judge her body language to get a feel what her feelings are like towards you. Out of the workplace and after a couple of beers I believe you could determine if she is just thinking friends or more.

This sounds like a membership in the mile high club could be in the works. :)

While not a plane ride, way back when, I was coming back from a college ski trip by bus. A woman that I had seen on the trip but had not really talked much too sat down in the seat next to me. It was about a 12 hour ride home and quite boring. It was nighttime, the lights were out, most people were asleep and I don't remember how it started but we ended up discreetly getting each other off. Best bus ride I ever had.

Vegas 21-25

Heading out to Sin City would enjoy meeting up with Lit F members that would be up for a drink or two and maybe a meal and some casual conversation.
