Canadians

Cold and flu season is coming as well. Remember, if you do get sick, to drink plenty of fluids (a sparkling white wine is a good choice) and stay in bed for a few days (with a warm friend). It may not cure the cold, but it makes having it much more pleasant.

Hoping you get more than stovetop stuffing’! Does stuffing your email with lewd suggestions count? 🤭

Hey Canadians, out of curiosity, baked or fried Turkey?
I did mine on my Traeger pellet smoker, stuffed with quartered apples (I did the stuffing in a slow cooker, basted with home made turkey stock).

It worked great. Twelve pound bird. Two hours at 190F, followed by another two hours at 350F until the temp got to 170F in the thigh. Then finished it for an hour at 190F

I want to come to your place next Thanksgiving!

Hi all you wonderful Canadians,

I’m not lucky enough to come from Canada, I hail from Scotland, however years ago I spent the best part of three flying seasons at Goose Bay in Labrador.

The country is stunning and only bettered by the people, everyone was so friendly and so kind. Always round peoples houses, out on the deck for BBQs and drinking into the small hours.

Got to admit the best part was the northern lights and the transformation from a boy to a man. Oh the things I got up to!

Thank you Canada and thank you Goose Bay.

I am sure they are, as stunning as the topography is, it’s always the people that make a place truly beautiful.
Thank you for the kind words. I may well have to come over and experience your hospitality 😉

Canadians are hospitable, especially during the long winter months.
We get an early start to the evening fun with the sun that sets at 4:30! 🤭
