BTW, I take it that this is the Playground area where fun & whatever is the goal but the original thread wasn't exactly a fun topic.

I also understand that mods are probably overworked with trying to police the threads for scammers/fakes, etc but also contend that their job would be made easier if simple filtering was done at signup stage (yes one such technique, IP duplicate detection is simple to implement).

I just came across this YT channel which highlights some salient info in an entertaining way - it highlights how the social media algorithms incentivise people with no particular ideology into posts that earn some traction & the algorithm filters & presents these posts together so a casual viewer would conclude that so many people share the same view so it's viewed as "a movement". Something I find interesting to contemplate

She has other very interesting, well researched & entertaining short vids too - so in the interests of fun, enjoy (and for the pervs - you can knock one off looking at her and listening to her sexy New Zealand voice)

Since I came back in September I have received maybe three or four unsolicited PMs from newish accounts that ask innocuous questions in awkward grammar.

I think that each one was somehow in the "textile industry."

Not sure if it a form of hog butchering coming to Lit, or just weird people finding their way here.

Those are the fake accounts that I seem to find (or that seem to find me)

If only people would take a moment to read through a thread instead of simply replying to fake accounts, they might not be taken in. Err on the side of caution instead of replying to.every.damn.post from a "horny woman".
