I won't debate if the stories or better or not content-wise, perhaps just lacking the BS of the older threads. However, the difference is these stories generally peter out after just a few lines then just sit there...dead...while the others grew to gigantice proportions.

Just Add, Add, ADD!
I think Chyoo is great, it just needs a bit of time and 'refinement' to a few things. People need to know its there and get used to the new format.
Why bag the site? Why not just add your own stories and threads to other stories, and it WILL grow! I have to admit that it does majorly lack the depth of the old interactive stories, but instead of complaining just add, add, add!
But i also must say that most importantly if your not going to check the site rather frequently don't bother adding a new story, cause too many people will be waiting for threads to be approved (like I am).

If the old system actually worked - if people posted to it and stayed within the rules - then it wouldn't have had to have been replaced.
I wouldn't really put a time limit on a site like Chyoo - entirely free - in which it has to "become good enough for you" either. Sure, it's frustrating if you find yourself waiting, waiting, waiting but it must be even more annoying for the people who work behind the scenes if people pop up with "This is what I want, I want it now" comments.

As I see it the old site is gone, its not coming back, this is what there is. So quit whining about it, and if you can make a better site go for it.
