I'm not a 'party-all-the-time' kind of girl, so New Orleans during French Festival is the perfect size crowd and level of rowdiness. I slept in the sun, listened to local bands, and ate generations upon generations of oysters and crawdads.

I'm not 100% square [i promise], but I really wanted to take a tour of the plantations because the city is so rich w/ history, but missed it. Why? I was walking out of the neighborhood that I was staying in - Fauberg Mavigny - and got sold on a fundraiser. A plate of crawdads, corn and potatoes for FIVE DOLLARS!

Missed the tour, but it was oh-so worth the price.

That's my weekend.

By the way, took a couple of pictures that I'll post when I get them downloaded

In the meantime, I'm still looking for netherlifes of the group, and weekend goings on.
