It's also cool that there hasn't been a single repeat name yet. :)
Now, that's an interresting observation. Cool indeed.

Not exactly an accurate one, because Tess won the audio nomination for January before having it deleted, but yeah. :)

MET, congrats, and thanks for bearing with us through the tougher times. :rose: ;)

how do the awards work?

who chooses?

what kudos are conferred?

I have never said congratulations to the winners before on this thread, well, because I never know what to say.

The winners could not have been a better choice.
Each is diverse, expansive in topic, language, music, style, personality, and each is astounding...

 :rose:

You choose, every time you vote. The top rated poem posted each month in each category will earn this nomination, so at the end of the year there will be twelve nominees in each.

Of these 12, the top 4 or 5 will be included in a poll where every registered user can vote to the best poem of the year, in each category, and win a heads up, a little blue W next to the title, and a little gift. This poll usually happens every year in February.

Congratulations to May 2004's Category Nominees!

Perks, Lauren Hynde, WickedEve and Lady Christabel! :rose:

Thanks for announcing this. I never think to check and I wouldn't have known.

Erotic Poetry – remind me again / perks
Illustrated Poetry – "I tremble..." / Lauren Hynde
Non-Erotic Poetry – Little Escapes / WickedEve
Poetry With Audio – A Simple Life, A Simple Love / Lady Christabel

I was surprised by Little Escapes. Oh, well.
I tremble is great, L.
I know I read perks' but I need to look it up again and refresh my memory.
Need to also visit the audio poem and listen. :)

L, I'm so glad you signed your name. Otherwise, it'd look like I was congratulating myself. :D
