I'll have to see if I can persuade Tinglebliss to have some more photos taken of us at play. We'll need to find a photographer, though, as our camera doesn't support remote operation, and I'm unable to move quickly enough to get back properly into position before the 10 second self-timer expires.

Just use a Bluetooth remote MF. A dear friend sent me one and I break it out from time to time. Though honestly I use the voice activated camera on my Samsung most of the time. There's no way I could get back into position in 10 seconds either.
Are you trying to Jurrasic Park me with the "white period object"?

It's a "proper" camera, but it's an old-ish one and it just doesn't have any remote triggering capability. I don't trust mobile devices for taking more intimate photos as it's inherently more difficult to be sure where the data is going to end up.
I've been considering for a while getting a Digital SLR camera. I see that more recent ones include not just remote triggering but remote display (check out the image on your smartphone before you take it). I still wouldn't enable the "automatic upload to social media via WiFi" facility, though.
The alternative is to find a wiling, trusted and kink-friendly photographer.

So much fun using a proper camera for improper things, right? A factory reset phone with no social media apps won't upload anything anywhere. As an experiment I recently used an old phone that's not on my plan to take some photos at the Christmas party. Worked great (especially with the Bluetooth remote) and it was quite an effort to move the photos.
I have a DSLR as well but the phone is still my best Lit style photo producer. It's ease of taking and editing surpasses anything else I've tried. Having said that, if I were ever asked to be a trusted and kink-friendly photographer I'd take some with the DSLR.
