What are you defining as being equal? The value of a person or The power one posesses?

I also perceive his power to be equal also. Why have a slave or sub without a strong sense of personal power? Without it there would not be enough to be exchanged.

Maybe that is why the male subs/slaves I encounter have a lot of personal power. I know I have plenty myself. In fact, the stronger the power, the more attractive the slave/sub is to me.

It makes his submission all the more sweet because it is born of strength.

I will say i am very strong. I do believe that is something that attracted my Master to me. I have a strong will and it can only be given upto someone that is just as strong willed if not stronger and outside the D/s relationship i am not submissive to him or anyone else. I run my own business and i am a single mother there is no way i can be submissive outside the D/s part of my relationship.

Outside the D/s part of the relationship we do equally for each other i am not always serving him and waiting on him hand and foot.
