We’ve already had snow here this fall. So it’s more like (S)No(w), (S)No(w), (S)No(w), (S)No(w)!

A couple of years ago we had a decent snow on Oct 15th. That’s extremely early for here. Usually it’s December before we get anything worth worrying about. So I’m 6 to 8 weeks from being ready to put plows and salt spreaders on the trucks.

I’ll, greedily, keep the snow for another 6-8 weeks then.

(Most of the snow we got 8 days a go is gone already due to Mother Nature moving back and forth between seasons. However, I live in an area with a unique weather phenomenon called Chinooks, and it is not uncommon in January, for one to cause significant melting of snow and for temperatures to go from snowsuits to (the Canadian version of) T-shirts and even shorts weather. Though with it is a significant pressure change so a lot of people get migraines).

When I was there last January it was gorgeous. :)
It is far too early for snow though!

Thank you! Everyone ‘around here’ appreciates it.

I love the Rockies. I have friends in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. I used to visit them a lot before the kids came along:rolleyes:

About 15 years ago, I was visiting my friend who lives just outside of Helena...it was -40 and ground blizzards. We were working on a race truck and even with the heat cannons every time we touched metal it was like we dipped our hands in liquid nitrogen. Two days later, the chinooks came and it was +70 and every flake of snow had melted. Two days after that, when I was hoping to get out of Dodge, it was -27 again and the serpentine belt came apart when I tried to start my truck.

I don’t know how you guys do it.

I love snow.

Fuck ice/sleet.

Either way, as long as I have a warm blanket and a cuddle-partner, I'll still be happy 😊

I only want snow around Christmas, the week of Christmas I want mounds of fluffy white snow and then the following week it can go away and go back to being in the 50’s

I do get all sentimental at the first snowfall of the year every year, and I love being tucked inside with a warm blanket and a book watching the snow fall and make everything white and quiet ..but I don’t wanna shovel and I don’t want to drive in it and I don’t want to have to go to work in it lol

Do you just want an overly big video screen showing a snowfall, dear girl? :D

I am weird. I don't mind shoveling snow.

I fucking hate scraping ice. And in my area we get altogether too much of that.

Meh...

But now I want to make hot chocolate and build a fire lol

There’s a fireplace in here!??

Otherwise he’s gonna build a bonfire in the middle of the room 😋

Are you kidding?! We have everything!

*snaps fingers and a fireplace appears on the east wall of the living area*

We put it away for the summer. ;)

I've been looking for one for a while now!!!
