I'm cranky. I'm frustrated. I'm tired of antibiotics, pain killers, and doctors.
I'm sorry!! Hugs!!

Hope you were able to find some escape today! sounded like the perfect day for a couch, blankets, a bowl of popcorn, and a bunch of movies lined up!
Be well!
Thanksgiving isn’t even here yet I’m ready for it to be over
I love the holiday itself but this year the stress of blending the stuffy in-laws with my loud and laid back fam is already driving me bonkers
I need a big hug...and some eggnog

Yeah growing up, Thanksgiving was always a big family affair, uncles and aunts and cousins over. And since we lived in Cali (close to where you are BFG ) it was usually warm and sunny and we played outside or played games inside and it was just jovial and fun.
Since my parents and sister and I all moved out to the Midwest it’s gotten a lot smaller and much more quiet than days gone by. I’m usually the one trying to initiate a family game or activity and mixing drinks for everyone, trying to create more of those fun precious memories with the little ones - especially since I’m very close with my niece, my parents swear she is my clone in every way.
The in-laws idea of fun and cutting loose is playing a round of Pitch or Hearts with a deck of cards and that’s it
I actually learned pitch one Thanksgiving. Fun game. I go to Thanksgivings tomorrow night. My sister in law let me invite a co worker who just joined our company. She just moved to Boston from school in Western Massachusetts and is from China. It will make it interesting. Better than sitting in her apartment over the long holiday.Yeah growing up, Thanksgiving was always a big family affair, uncles and aunts and cousins over. That’s awesome. That's really nice of you and your family.
Once we left Maryland (where my family was) to Fort Stewart, GA, we invited single soldiers to holidays. That tradition continued out here in SoCal, with the addition of Corpsman or Marine, there's both an Army base and Marine Base here.
Hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving!
I am already turning to the Christmas holiday stuff - t-day was so late this year, there is less time than usual to Dec 25!
Speaking of Christmas --- check out the link below for a Lit Secret Santa.

*raises my hand*
What’s a kissing ball?
Kinda like a precursor to Mistletoe. If you are standing underneath it, you are fair game to be kissed.
