Dark-Glasses GALLERY

I believe that was SJ's point...in her poem.

I think it would have been a bit more effective if I had started from scratch....I was pretty swamped at the time.

I love having the illustration alongside the poem. Imp's santa gift to me at Christmas was a poster size copy of the poem with the illustration and it's hanging in my bedroom. It makes the poem more real, I think. The only way it could have been better (for me) is if the illustration had been of me, tho I don't know that I'd necessarily want to see that.

That is a fantasy of mine...on several levels!
to go to a lit-together and drawing requests...not JUST of the litsters (but that too).

I used to do this...as a form of entertainment with my wife and friends...they suggest I draw something and i give it a go. A variation was; I make a quick scribble...then someone makes a suggestion of subject and i try and translate the scribble into that subject.

she is no longer amused by it.

guess i should learn some new tricks.
Oops. Edited because it was completely uncalled for.

Oh, that sounds like fun! To watch as you bring an idea to life...yeah, I'd like that.

Well since Mr smarty pants has gone and altered the gallery for some of us not so computer literate people, I must go back and figure out how to find them. Jeeze like I dont have anything better to do, well not really, still trying to decide if I should put the apron on that DG just threw at me saying "If you are going to sit there and sing, maybe you should make some more Cock-tail treats!

Should I or shouldnt I?

Took a look through the gallery while on my way to the kitchen.
Peeling myself away I figured its the least I can do, go and make a few trays of croquet de pois , and a few other tasty snacks.

maybe that way he wont kick me out of the gallery and I get to stay for free! lol
Love hanging around to see what he will come up with next!

was somebody charging admission?
Um, not me.

I think Cealy is worth her weight in gold. Can we keep her around as head chef?

I prefer the rooms as you have them now. I don't like those uploadable files now that I've gotten used to the thumbnail format. Looks much more like a real gallery.

If people were really interested in viewing art, wouldn't they leave the "view image" option turned on?

Is it helpful or interesting to have my commentary by the pieces hung? should I give any more info?

I know that I like to hear (read) about other work.
I likes it. :) Gives a better feel for what the piece is all about.

It is good to hear the processes of how each piece came to be. So the commentry is very helpful.

So really you just have to keep up the good work
