This can go on forever, my last argument with another bunch of internet cowards lasted 10 pages or something. They kept going with the insults, which if it were done face to face and not behind a keyboard, would result in fistcuffs. So how about this, all of you who i pissed off, you put down a place where i can find you, and il attempt to deal with this like a man, i will kick your fucking ass and break your fucking fingers. If your a woman you may bring a male replacement. I won't get too you asap, but someday if i have time il find some of you and hit you in the face, possibly with your own keyboard.

Sounds insane but someone hiding behind his keyboard, hurling insults knowing full well nothing is going to happen to them is in FACT a coward, if they know it or not.

Why is it that everyone on the losing side of a battle of wits always wants to change games and beat people up in real life? I'm sorry if you can't keep up intellectually dude but starting to throw fists isn't actually going to change that fact. It's like me going up to the Dalai Lama and declaring him an all-around worthless person because I can beat him in a Guitar Hero competition. It's two completely unrelated things that you're bringing together here because you're in over your head and you're trying to re-define the terms of this interaction.

Hey there, I don't have many stories on here; in fact most of what I did post was years ago and quite frankly not worth reading; however, even at 18 when I began writing I still wanted to put together something that was readable. You are right to a point when you classify these as "just sex" stories, and the purpose many people have in reading them is to enjoy themselves physically. Here is something for you to consider, are you writing just to share something; an idea you had that you think other people might enjoy? Or, perhaps you are writing with the intention of making someone else "wank." Either reason is facilitated by linking the words and phrases you use together to create a pleasant experience Your story probably does have viability, it isn't the concept people are struggling with; in fact, it is how jarring the story is to the mental comprehension. The errors effectively create mental roadblocks for your reader. No, they prob. aren't looking for great literary works, but the better your concept is written the better the reader's reaction. Also, you seem to not have a respect for erotica writing (not judging that btw) you call other writers of the fiction perverts for example... if you don't respect it or see it is a legitimate field of writing then perhaps the problem with not wanting to correct the errors is simply that you don't respect yourself for delving into the the genre, and you feel worse because you were rejected by what you see as beneath you. Just something to consider. Good luck with your writing, take a minute to think about why are writing, then maybe go back through the suggestions above and consider the strength they could give your concept.

The reason for wanting to kick some ass is because one guy here called kbate or something said some personal crap about my mom, which in real life would get you a asskicking, anyone who says something like that is a coward because they know full well they are safe and sound at home. Did i say i was smarter then you? If this is personal, we need to settle this like men and fight, makes sense to me. It's gone beyond just sex stories now. Now if the Dalai Lama went up to someone and said "fuck you, go fuck yourself idiot", there is a chance that guy will kick his ass.

Unlikely, the threat of violence came so readily to your posts, that I can only assume such behaviour is habitual. I'd just like to say "Thank you" for all the help you've given me. You have not always been "gentle", but you've been honest and correct and kept me from looking like an utter fool who posted unreadable crap (some of my stuff DID suck). In the long run WAS the gentlest thing you could have done.

THAT is what an editor is SUPPOSE TO DO! You "guided" me to improve my characters, my dialog and, god knows, my grammar and punctuation. Thank you for that.

Surt, surt, surt! I have no axe to grind here. Post what you want, where you want, but all sites have their rules. Only some sites apply their rules more rigorously than others!

I used to have a mutual editing arrangement with someone I 'met' elsewhere before either of us submitted our first stories on this site. It was harsh sometimes, but we both benefited from that arrangement.

Currently I am working on a different project, non-erotic, and hopefully destined for publication in a local newspaper. This I e-mailed out to a couple of friends to get their opinion before submitting to the newspaper editor. I took on-board their comments and edited accordingly. The piece was better as a result. Even my son, who is more dyslexic than I am, spotted a punctuation mistake that I had made because I didn't read the story out loud to my self before sending it. I didn't shout at him I thanked him for his useful input.

Reading out loud is a very useful tool for checking your punctuation by the way.

Nobody here is out to get you, ultimately we are all working towards the same goal, namely to see our 'babies' published. But if you push don't be surprised if some people push back!

So, your 'baby' was rejected make the corrections and try again.

Believe me much, much worse things happen in real life. Stop trying to fight the system and start working with it, it makes life a lot less stressful in the long run.

P.S. Even this forum post I have submitted to the same editing standards I apply to my stories. But I bet there are still some mistakes in here somewhere. LOL
