It’s largely posturing, on both sides. Feds already have the information via other sources.

They’d do better to look at process and procedure, as allowed by various preexisting Federal Laws, but the point is to drive up social media engagement. Not actually solve any problems.

You can tell when he accuses Dems of doing something that is a precurser to him and the Republicans doing it. They do that to dampen the outrage over what they want to do.
