Means your hand draws what your mind tells it to. A highly prized commodity in advertising, where the Art Directors were often concept dudes, not skilled artists.

I think that skill would just be highly prized, period. I know when I try to draw what's in my mind, my hand turns around and gives me the finger :p

Thank you, I really appreciate it. Drawing for me has been something I pushed aside for the sake of being "an adult." I'm not proud of the caricature of an adult that I have become, but I want to be more like myself. Drawing is apart of me in a way I never realized. I feel so much better after I've completed a work. I was so upset today because I didn't have time to draw anything. I didn't know how much it hurt until just a few days ago. I want to do more.

I have to make references to draw what I want. In my latest, I tied my own leg up so I could draw it. ^_^; It's not always clear in my mind, but I figure it out. :)

When I was younger, my friends would praise me. I was somewhat confident. Someone much older decided to test us (a bunch of youngsters). She set us down and told us to draw a picture of a banana and something else. I was so confident that my banana looked the best. When we all finished, she looked over our drawings and chose one that wasn't (in my opinion) the best. She said to me, "yours is nice, but you didn't get the detail."

The picture she chose to be the best had included the green stem of the banana. I felt cheated. Mine had a gorgeous Banana! The other one looked like a weird blob!

But... She pointed out to me, the other picture showed the banana in its truest form. It had the most detail and all of its flaws. My banana looked very nice, but didn't have enough detail.

I learned a valuable lesson that day. Even if it's not perfect, detail matters. Throughout my education on art (which I barely paid attention, too busy doodling) I learned that art isn't just the pretty paintings. There is art in the simplest doodle. Even just a squiggle can be art. We all have the talent, and it's not based on being "perfect."

What I'm saying is: I want to see your work bhondblueyes88. You're better than you know. （＾ω＾）
 
BTW..., meek..that's a bit bananas :nana: about the "detail", though it is important to understand the "essence" of your subject.

I'll have to give "camera" a go.
I have a "ribbon", but really should do a fresh one for the draw club.

That pic hits a handful of my current kinks-- bondage on the front porch, and the pepperment cane up the butt... bet that feels great

Meekme, I'm having a difficult moment with the ribbon. I really don't want to craft realistic dildos, there are a thousand and five available already. But of course, that's the charm of the concept.

I think I muddled what actually happened at the time, but the gist was to really look at what we were drawing. :)

I'm happy you made it over. I never really posted, but I like to stop by and look at your work. (-_^)

Hm... That is difficult. I suppose a rounded cylinder just wouldn't be too exciting wrapped in a bow. I feel like the bow would be perfect for holding like a handle, but I have no idea what the handle would be attached to.

I will continue to think about this. I've never thought about dildos beyond the average phallic shape.

Easier said than done. I already have a scanner, but the paper I use is bigger than the scannable space.

If I had it. Already spent money on a bigger scanner...and also tend to work smallish... :)

pretty much everything end up in the computer at some point...so.
