Yup, I do it. I'll keep myself on edge for a few hours... the orgasm is explosive with a massive load.

Years ago, I read an article about Extended Sexual Orgasms (ESO) and the ability for men and women to experience the sensation. It's not edging, since you allow yourself an orgasm and it's not the same as a woman having multiple orgasms - which technically are a series of orgasmic events. It's reaching an orgasmic state and STAYING THERE.

I'm happy to report, it IS possible and relates to this thread because it's closely related to edging, too.

For a man, it's reaching the beginning of your orgasm, and it's a real orgasm, but more with pre-cum emmissions than the hardcore spurting/contractions we typically associate with a man's orgasm. What happens is, you stay in that state, continuing to release, continuing the orgasmic experience, but without the fury of a full on orgasm. Once you're there, the trick is staying on that edge without slipping into the usual orgasm. You can feel the difference. You know when you've lost your ESO and it's pretty damn obvious when you've moved past an ESO state and had a full orgasm.

Part of what happens during ESO is a zen-like state of overwhelming peace and arousal. It doesn't require constant stimulation, but it does require stimulation.

You were right next to it and that's a pretty good description. Work on getting to that point and staying there without tipping into a full blown orgasm and you'll be golden. :D

I think it's different for women. I don't think there is a point like that....I'm either on one side of it or the other. If I get too close, it just starts to happen and there is nothing I can do about it, even if I pull my fingers away it just happens.

Technically, it's supposed to be easier for women than men, with the potential mis-step of her slipping into a multiple orgasmic state. I recommend more practice, Cathyanne! :D

No think it is the same for us guys ( me anyway) once that point is reached there is no turning back :)
Been edging all week but not on propose.
Just have not been able to get to that point :(
