I voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012. I would vote for him a third time against any Republican. Nevertheless, the death of George Floyd did not bother me at all. The black ghetto riots that followed infuriated me.

Blacks are to the Democrat Party what the religious right is the Republican Party. Blacks are an unpopular constituency that is often necessary for electoral victories.
