I'm not alone amongst American heterosexual males with regards to being very turned on by our female counterparts across the ocean, am I? Granted, I like many different kinds of women, but I find myself fantasizing tonight, not for the first time, about falling for a charming, pretty English woman. Yes, the accents are very nice, but I can't help but feel attracted to the image of women from this part of the world, based on the ones that I've seen and I suppose also a romantic notion of their attitude and culture.

Furthermore, feedback from Lit's English ladies might be nice; how does this make you feel?

Oh YES....something bout the British accent. And Australian. The one that really get's me (next to a southern lady) That 8' tall Italian model the does those Fiat commercials.... (you know full well she wouldn't fit in that car) BUT DAMN. She chews that wimpy guy out.... You know hes just finished in his pants.

That Italian accent....GRRRRRR. British and Australian...just get my blood rushing to my loins......Yeee'haww

You're welcome. I love the accents, though I don't think I could tell the difference between a midland accent from any other. But there is still something more about y'all that just turns me on. I can't put my finger on it right now but I know it is there.

I lived in London for a couple of years in my teens (back in the 70s). I loved the accents. All the English ones from posh to cockney. North country to Land's End. And the Irish, Scottish and Welsh. It was just delightful to hear all the variation after growing up around the many accents in the USA.

And of course, being a horny teenager, I found many of the women there to be sexy and their voices were part of the package.

Rachel Love is a porn star with a hot Brit accent.

Ironically, I dated only Americans (from my American school there) while living in UK, but then dated a lovely Yorkshire lass as soon as I moved back to the USA. She was a cute, buxom gal and I loved her accent.

BTW, I love the Springbok, Kiwi and Aussie accents too!

Most of the women I've corresponded with on Lit have been from England/Ireland/Australia. I wonder what it is about the accent or traditions that makes them more friendly? It makes me want to move overseas. The US is very standoffish. Actually now that I think of it, it might be because 'Merikans have never had basic ettiquite training, so like, we don't look each other in the eye on the street, we often don't introduce our friends to a group, we never touch besides the occasional handshake (and NEVER kiss cheeks), we can't drink till 21 so it makes socializing taboo, etc. The US culture is extremely puritanical, at least here in the northwest, where we almost never see members of the opposite sex except at the mall/church/bars or sanctioned locations like that. I wonder if there are fewer barriers like that in other english speaking countries?

I sometimes wonder if half the fascination is because the world sees us as very prim and proper. It brings out this (mostly) male sexual instinct to ruffle us up and get under all that properness.

I have to say I find almost any accent pretty attractive, though I do have a special affinity for the Brits. I’ve never been with a girl who spoke with an accent or foreign tongue, so to speak. It is a fantasy of mine.
