Euro Lit Get Together in Amsterdam?

Hi,
Just thought I would say good luck on this as a survivior of the East Coast Get Together.
Hoping to get to Stockholm in the middle of June for a family function. I will be dropping in here to see what progresses with the schedule.

If this would be after September, we might be able to attend. Weekends would be nice since we would be staying for a few days then probably.

i'm going to be in europe end of june to mid-july. i don't post here much, and i dont know if i am brave enough...
 
I am back on focus here :D I would encourage those who are wanting to attend but feel a little shy to come as get together's are just that most times, a chance to put faces to names and meet new friends, share ideas and experiences if you wish, relax and have fun in a safe environment with like minded people. The last one we went to had a confidentiality agreement, that nothing would be made public knowledge, no private sharing discussed elsewhere, and no pics posted or shared without permission from those in the pics.

What I need from everyone now is:

(1) when the best time is for everyone, or if you only have limited time available, when that is so we can try and work a common time for all interested.

(2) whether we want a weekend, 1 or 2 nights if so, or just a day thing....keeping in mind that if it is a weekend which is probably best for those who come from other countries, that those who can only attend one day, night, or couple of hours are still welcome to do that and will be happily received.

(3) what type things people would like included in the get together...eg. is it to be a getting to know you weekend of chat and perhaps demonstrations of techniques etc.; or do people wish to go clubbing/partying one night which will require planning around when something is on; or perhaps a canal tour of Amsterdam to give visitors an opportunity to incorporate sightseeing as well as meeting?

We are going to follow up on an idea we have for perfect and affordable accomodation when we have a better idea what everyone wants. Any other suggestions will be gratefully accepted.

Rebumping as though I have had PM's of interest, have not had some of the info I need to keep planning this for everyone on this side of the ocean. Hopefully we can find a time which suits everyone, and organise something fun so we can all meet finally.

As I have previously posted. My slave and I will attend your get together if I am in Scandinavia at the time. I may even consider planning My next trip around the get together if it is feasible for Me.

What I would enjoy would be a get together to get to know those I have posted with here in Lit. Play and demos are always interesting as is clubbing so all could be a go for U/us.

The focal for Me would be the interraction between those so inclined to attend. A day or two...either is fine.

Now I will admit...that was probably totally unhelpful ~~grin~~
 
Unfortunately, we just won't be able to make it. JM won't be getting any vacation until after the first of the year. Perhaps next time?

LOL, thanks for responding, it was helpful!!... and it will be fantastic if you can both make it. I will get onto checking out a number of options, especially the accomodation which I have a dream list consisting of one, which if not possible (and perhaps that is the realistic view but will try), then leaves me with finding a suitable alternative ideas. Any interest in a nighttime (or day) canal tour of Amsterdam as both an option to enjoy the beauty of the city as well as all getting to know each other?

Now this is something I would love to attend but doubt I will be able to make it. Regardless, I will keep checking back just in case something changes to make it possible.
