Europe outperforms US in academic test scores, US trounces Europe in wealth creation

Skilled immigrants have always been important contributors to the growth, wealth, and greatness of America. It might surprise you to learn that this fact dates back to our founding.

Yes, immigrants have always been important to the growth of America, despite what Trump and the MAGAs say. šŸ˜„

Do you have data on the actual numbers and impact of skilled vs unskilled immigrants entering America throughout history, or are you just making an assumption without a factual foundation?

Understood MajorRetard,
Low marginal tax rates are a good thing. Europe could learn from us. California tax rates are too high for all income levels. The good things that gave birth Fairchild, Intel and other pioneers that started Silicon Valley began decades ago have deteriorated.

There's always someone that wants to use law to stuff their grubby little hands in the pockets of others. These people are quite correctly identified as societal parasites.

That's only because their share of the wealth is higher than it's been since the Gilded Age (and possibly even worse than then at this point).

BabyBoobs knows they can slide their gaslighting bullshit about taxes right by the typical low information, low education MAGAt, like ineedhelp1, etc, but decent, intelligent individuals see BabyBoobsā€™ gaslighting bullshit for what it is.

The sad truth is, not all do. I've heard stories of doctors - you can't get much more intelligent and educated than that - trying to avoid making more than a certain amount of money every year because they're afraid taxes will mean they end up making less if they cross that line. Of course that's not how the graduated income tax works at all.

Then theyā€™re lacking in intelligence on some level.

I find it amusing but not surprising that you donā€™t recognize the contributions immigrants and descendants of immigrants bring to America in fields such as science, technology, medicine, government, education, economics, construction and other fields. They contribute in a wide range of professions as inventors, entrepreneurs, CEOs, engineers, researchers, doctors, statesmen, athletes, architects, tradesmen, artists and more.

Tens of thousands of workers come to America every year under various employment visa and immigration programs. Some are temporary, others become permanent residents and citizens.

Youā€™ve probably never heard of people like Alexander Graham Bell, Nicola Tesla, Wernher Von Braun, Henry Kissinger, Andrew Grove, and Sergey Brin but those folks and countless others with vital talents from foreign lands have done great things for this country. If youā€™re looking for numbers, Iā€™m not going to help you. You can ask your favorite AI tool.

It's a weird flex that I don't understand.

But they also built the country through unskilled manual labor, and millions still do, and we can't do without them.

BabyBoobs is a total POS ass clown.

And "some people" donā€™t even realize it.

Absolutely. Unskilled labor plays a vital role in the US economy. Not sure how many unskilled workers actually created the roughly 250 US companies collectively valued at an estimated $30 trillion but Iā€™m sure many if not all of those companies employ unskilled immigrants.

And it will be a really bad thing if Trump keeps his promises about mass deportation.

The Trump administration is not going to deport the entire estimated 11 million to 17 million illegal aliens in US. That would be impossible and impractical. We donā€™t know exactly how many will be deported. Presumably ā€œmass deportationā€ means breaking Obamaā€™s record. Homan has been clear about the prioritization.

You have a reading comprehension problem. I am not surprised.

Innovative high-tech companies continue to spawn in California. šŸ‘ Look at how many of those $30 trillion companies you cited are located there.

You didnā€™t address why those companies continue to grow in relatively high tax California but not in low tax red states like Mississippi and West Virginia. The truth is there is no proof that tax rates are a determining factor in entrepreneurship or innovation.
