Exhibitionist or Voyeur?

I'm the exact opposite, I'm definitely primarily a voyeur. Somehow, I early on developed fetish level attraction to nudity, particularly female nudity, of course. Interestingly, I'm not at all that attracted to seeing people having sex, I mean, beyond the fact that they mostly tend to do it nude.

Exhibitionist... I'm a man. In my culture men were generally not expected to have modesty beyond what is forced on them by social norms, externally.

I was taught that male genitals are unconditionally offensive, and seeing them is somehow damaging to the viewers -- as opposed to the female, whose nudity is unquestionably beautiful but the act of seeing it is somehow damaging to her. Exposing male genitals in sexual way without explicitl prompt is an insult. Exposing female nudity is a gift, viewing it without explicitl permission is stealing. Non-sexual, functional nudity, as in sauna or by medical needs, should never be an issue, and should never be mixed by sexuality.

Yes, it's complicated and somewhat confusing. That just about anyone I knew seemed to have their own standards and interpretations of the ground rules didn't help.

There were times we had no modesty between me and my sister, and then I learned to know a girl who quite obviously enjoyed to be seen. For a time I nudged my whole family towards nudism, but the gradual process had to be repeated every short summer. Growing up in the eighties I believed by now nudism will be the boring normal in the society in general. Instead I experienced steady and aggressive rise of taboo of nudity, mostly driven externally by globalization.

I enjoy to be naked, including at times and places I shouldn't, but it is complicated. Especially when doing it alone with only myself, I often imagine myself as a female doing what I do, and "watch" myself in my imagination as such, and that's the main way I derive pleasure from it.

The thrill of not being seen is still there from male perspective too, but the default reaction to cover up when seen is driven more by politeness to them, and secondary by fear of practical implications (although where I live, it is generally legal to be nude (as little as any law have power here, I grew up in lawless land, and legal nihilism is high still), but not acceptable, and most of time not practical due to severe weather). Few times I have caught myself enjoying deliberate exposure, mostly by fixing and cancelling the subconscious suppression of the feelings. It's when nudity becomes nakedness and situation of social nudism turn sexual, the degree of deliberation and mutual knowing of interest are the triggers, or so I suppose.

I may use my own nudity to provoke or help others to lose their inhibitions, done with proper care it sometimes may succeed.

Not really an exhibitionist, but if someone is watching, it's Ok with me. As for being a voyeur, well, that's a different story. I'm always seeking new and exciting positions and procedures for sex.
