Nope, yet a Christian. Just not Catholic.

So no tradition of fish on Friday. I'm told that it actually came about because Pope Leo owned a fleet. I think the minor sacrifice to remember the importance of Friday worked out ok.

Friday, is the last day of the week. The smell of fish lingers. Sometimes through the skin. It definitely lights up an office, in the wrong kind of way. Fridays gives it a chance to be eaten and clears out over the weekend.
