So, two part answer... no it doesn't feel real, but it does feel better than just my hand. Soaking it in warm water beforehand can make for a nice sensation that makes it feel a little more "real."

I personally have to use alot of lubrication because I'm very thick, and I have to apply it often. Kinda takes a little of the fun out of it, but it's better than chaffing, haha. The other thing with my thickness is I usually have to unscrew the endcap to get things to operate smoothly. Because of the tight seal, the suction you get with the end cap on (which is part of the appeal) can be strong enough it starts tugging and shifting in the case.
