Oh I see...it's like complimenting a person's tattoos, it's any easy conversation starter that subtly lets the person know you've been checking them out. Oh yes. Touching any part of a woman and staring into her eyes is a confident and thirsty move!It could be quite multi-layered, depending on the man. At the base of it, it's an easy way to compliment, acknowledging the love and care that goes into braids. It's a man's simple way of saying "I dig you."
