I don't know about the woman having to be a "fisting virgin" for a man's hand to get mangled...if it really happens at all. I suppose it would depend on the strength of her orgasm and the contractions that go with. But a man could just try and relax his hand as much as possible to avoid that....and yes tuck his thumb inside the rest of his fingers, curling it and forming it into a duck beak shape.
The thing is, fisting is supposed to result in a whopper of an orgasm. Not much fun in being afraid that her contractions are going to crush you.

Although I think the chances of breaking a hand are infinitely small, I suppose never say never. I know from my limited fisting experience of my lady, who has a very tight passage and strong vaginal contractions, that yea, with a fisting virgin, it won't be too comfortable if the woman orgasms while your hand is inside her. So I would take the precaution of making sure that you make an actual fist, and not just put all five fingers in straight. It'll be more comfortable for both of you, although it seems a bit counterintuitive, seeing as a fist is larger in diameter than 5 fingers schrunched together straight. I think it works best to start making your fist as soon as you get 4 fingers in, and just tuck your thumb into you palm and just let the fist naturally form.

I agree with "never say never" but the probably of hand-breaking during fisting (virgin or not) is, like, really really low. Like way low. I seriously, honestly, promise it is nothing to worry about. I speak from lots of research and lots of experience.
