Hi Katerina! Thanks for the good words - it means a lot to both of us. Remember, Laurel does all the hard work, I just bang on the machines to *try* to keep them running.

Thanks for the link to the info. We're using some version of Red Hat, though I don't know which one off the top of my head. In your experience, what can bring down the MySQL server? I know that the Apache server is rock solid - we have very very few problems with it dying. I am somewhat paranoid about the MySQL server, though, because I've heard some horror stories. I think we're going to upgrade the server from 500 meg to 1gig of memory before we actually do the conversion to PHP/MySQL - I've read that a lot of memory can help keep MySQL running smoothly.
