Speaking in general, since time immemorial, in order to show interest in someone you're attracted to, you have to go out on a limb as you don't often know how the other person will react, its always been a risky game, you win some you lose some (in my case, mostly lose some) but that's life, and that's the case for both men and women. None of us would be here if this didn't go on.

These days though, any failed attempt at "hooking up", so to speak, with someone or giving someone some attention which turns out to be unwanted comes with a risk of getting into real trouble for sexual harassment, which can have very serious consequences.

So........I still think that posting a PM in a public thread for something that upset you is like going nuclear without any negotiation. After all, I don't think that he was posting anything illegal.

We've all probably had PMs that we don't like or aren't 'our thing' and a few words to that effect are enough to illicit an apology or put the poster off......or (again) you can block them.

Stragame didn't know SaraDarkened is a lesbian and possibly didn’t check, or did know. But in either case only cared about his interest and himself with no regard for her.


SaraDarkened then had two options: either do nothing letting Stargame get away scot-free, or do something standing up for herself, but either way possibly risking more bad experience.


This thread is more than two days old, has fifty posts, Stargame has posted three times (once about very dear female friends and the other two are hugs), but yet he has not apologized and shows no remorse.
