Oh, I have profiles at bondage.com, but don't go there to search anymore.

I used to post on the bulletin boards and yes, it is a rather diverse group, but soon found I couldn't do both b.com and moderate lit.

Of course, can you really moderate a group of people with "control" issues?

I didn't think Cafe was needed because I thought there was room in BDSM Talk for fun and seriousness in one place but hey, I'm not the god of Lit. Now there is debate as to what belongs in Cafe. Miss T, right or wrong, is doing a dirty job the rest of us won't do and I will say nothing negative about her decisions. If I feel she is way too wrong my option is to stop posting.

Edited to add-For those of you that feel that you should replace Miss T be prepared for the for the firestorm that occurs with every decision that you make.

EKVitar has hit on something I have posted over and again at lit. When it ain't fun, it is time to find something else to do or somewhere else to do it.

With respect to snide and rude comments on the forums, I do not react with snideness in real life and generally do not do so at lit. I will admit there have been times when repeatedly provoked that I have posted with a bit less tact than I had intended. However, it stands to reason, I do not participate in rude behavior, do not condone it and frankly, do my best not to surround myself with people who do engage in this sort of behavior.

However, all I can do here is lead forum etiquette by example and wish people were more polite. We do do our best to promote free speech at lit, regardless of whether or not we agree with everyone's interpretation of the same.

MissT has not made any new "decisions" in months and doesn't plan to do so. The sticky is a guideline to help direct new people in the right direction for the most effective responses to their posts. IF you want flip, fun and off topic responses, the Cafe is where to post. If you want serious discussion, the Talk Board is where to post.
That is all.

In truth, there are things that are tolerated or enjoyed here that IF I were "Managing" the forums as opposed to "Moderating", I might change or admonish. However, that isn't the case. What MissT wants or thinks is no more important than the new guy with ten posts. So, no, I am not making any decisions.

The posters make the forums, here and are doing a fine job.
IMHO.
