I'm personally against fucking a married woman, unless they have an open marriage. But I have had some fabulous times with a couple women who were legally separated. Wanted to marry the second one after her divorce went through, but she wasn't ready to enter into another serious commitment, and I couldn't blame her. Still one of the loves of my life, even though she now has a family and kids of her own. And I'm very happy for how things turned out for her.

Sounds very similar to my experience. I like your last sentence, that's a glimpse of proper humanity there.

I don't want to be with someone willing to lie to their spouse.

I don't lie to my own, but if another married person wants to "be with" me for a little while, I don't consider what's between them and their spouse to be my business.

I grant that a person who's a habitually or egregriously dishonest person in general might be a person I don't like enough to "be with," even for a little while, but they might be likable to me while they're in conflict with someone else.

Not my fault, not my problem.

Granted, if I know details and they're ugly, that might make the person unlikable to me, but just wanting an extramarital fling doesn't automatically make me dislike them.
