I once recorded a series of tankas.

When I replayed the tape, it sounded like I was just talking. Syllable counts and lines vanished into the air.

I used to post on a long defunct poetry board, where we had a forum for form poetry. A few people enjoyed writing pieces with varied line length, which created images of tear drops, triangles, circles, etc. Very clever stuff, but again, when read aloud, depend upon the words and images.
 
morning vomit glows
radiant like the summer
my lover boned me
