Harris will appear on Saturday Night Live tonight

I recall Trump was furious about Alec Baldwin playing him. Every president since Ford has been impersonated on SNL -- what made him think he wouldn't be?!

Or did he expect it, but not the lassitude and ineptness?

After all, if you're so careless as to just up and shoot somebody..., unless, are you a Liz Cheney fan boi?

Did she cackle her way through the event?

Dude how many decades have you been alive and you are acting like this?

Somewhere between the ho jokes to the cackling hysteria, you guys are displaying the judgement, character and maturity of children. Keep this up and no one is going to look at white conservative men with anything but disdain. And rightfully so.

Was she able to laugh at herself and the jokes about her laugh? Yes, she did. Came across very genuine and human and mature and relatable. Or in other words, was she able to be the exact opposite of the whiny, immature, petulant, spoiled, pathetic crap that Trump is when they make a joke about him? Yes, she was.

She wasn't laughing at herself, she was laughing 'with' herself. :)

She actually poked fun at her own laugh. That takes some degree of self-awareness and perspective, as well as a sense of humor. Would Trump allow anyone to roast him? Obama tried. Trump seethed in response. Men are supposed to be able to take a good roast. Harris is more of a man in that sense than Trump is.

Trump's sense of humor doesn't allow anyone to roast him. He's okay with poking fun at others. That suggests a very thin skin, which in turn reflects vanity, not pride. Vanity is rooted in insecurity.

Pretty hilarious scene. Maya and ,La nailed it. Haven’t seen the looking in to the dressing room mirror thing with the special guest since Fallon did that with Jagger. Loved it. 👍😅

I thought Hartman, Hammond and Baldwin did funny takes on Trump. I think I may like James Austin Johnson the best. He’s hi-LAR-rious! 🤣 He has the cadence and change in tone and the gestures as well as I’ve ever seen. IMG_2830.jpeg
