I love that you have made an "heirloom" of your grandfather's riding crop. I think he would be pleased. It's wonderful to know that he was able to enjoy his sex life right up until the end and even better for you to be able to associate your sexuality with him in that way ... seems to create a link with your grandad that will always be with you. And in my opinion, it's a more amusing trait inheritance than blue eyes or curly hair.
