Well it's just because I'm not completly satisfied with the way my body looks, and I have only recently started to accept myself the way I look. So that's part of it (if you want to see a recent picture if me, let me know in an e-mail).

Hmm you don't have a scanner, how about you snail mail it to me, and I'll scan it for you??

Well, I summoned up the courage. Today I took 23 pics of me. I was really nervous! It is really difficult to take flattering pictures of yourself without getting the camera in the frame. Now that it's done, I'm very curious to see what I end up with.

My main problem was finding the right place to get them developed. The place I usually go to was out. ONE FRAME of film had already been used, and I had no idea if my face was on it. (Plus, one of the employees there is an acquaintence.) I had to go somewhere I didn't frequent. I also had to go somewhere that didn't require the photo clerk to hand me the envelope! God knew what snickering was going to go on as I turned my back to leave. I ended up bringing them to the grocery store, where the developers drop off the pictures and never see who picks them up.

I should get them in a couple of days. Then, I'll have to use snail mail to send them to Laurel, because I don't have a scanner. Any idea how long it takes once she gets a hold of pictures? Can't be as long as stories, right?

I have to admit that in my opinion you've got guts!! And I also look forward to seeing the pics posted!

I don't know how much time Laurel will need to scan and post those pics, but I know that the second I got the pics I would be busy with my scanner!

I ahve had pictures taken of me willingly. They were very exposing pictures that my boyfriend had taken. We put them away and a few years had passed. When we moved to a different house i had forgotten all about thi pics and where i had hid them. His cousin had than rented the home and found the pics. One of them turned up in my boyfriends locker at work and he thought it was funny to have them being passed around. I have sice located all of them and had fun burning them so to answer your question NO i would never do such a thing again without remembering what could happen once years pass and the pics are forgotten about. It could jump up and bite you in the ass just like it did to me.
